Improved Cruising Adventure

The FX Series

Our Cruising segment is home to the FX series, where sophistication and innovation come together in a luxurious and exciting mix. These WaveRunners are just as suitable for relaxed days on remote shores as they are for exhilarating speed spikes with water splashing on your skin and the wind in your hair.

New for 2023

Available in Torch Red with black detailing as standard, the latest FX Cruiser SVHO has also been released in Limited Edition colors for a true style statement on the water. Trendy carbon? and mint colors and fresh graphics with a premium lacquer finish make this exclusive edition extra striking. In addition, the limited edition version comes standard with recessed, folding cleats so that you can quickly and easily moor to a pontoon or a mooring buoy.

The FX SVHO has also been upgraded, now with an integrated audio system that sits neatly in the footwell. It is waterproof and shockproof, supports Bluetooth and is paired with the 7-inch Connext® color touchscreen. So it's never been easier to listen to your favorite music or quickly call that waterfront restaurant you've been wanting to try for lunch for a while.

Finally, the FX Cruiser HO and FX HO have been enhanced with a NanoXcel2® deck, for a super-light yet extremely strong construction that improves power-to-weight ratio and handling.

VX Versatility

The VX Series features versatile WaveRunners with award-winning engineering and intuitive RiDE systems that completely transform the riding experience by introducing intuitive controls, electronic reverse and traction control. The advanced Connext multifunction steering system with its chic and easy-to-read 4,3-inch color screen is groundbreaking. Combined with the two multi-mount connection points, conveniently placed for navigation equipment, cameras or other devices, you have all the technology you need to experience an incredible adventure fully equipped.

VX

The VX is powered by our innovative three-cylinder engine, the 1.049cc TR-1 HO. The engine is compact and light and offers a perfect balance between efficiency and manoeuvrability. VX offers everything you need to start your adventures: seating for 3, plenty of storage space and the intuitive RiDE control system.

New for 2023

Already the pinnacle of the VX range with its powerful engine, the VX Cruiser HO has taken it to even greater heights this year with the addition of a NanoXcel2^®deck, previously only available on the top-of-the-line Cruising and Sport models. The new deck is super strong and incredibly light, providing smooth handling and exhilarating speed on the water. The high-power 1.812cc four-cylinder engine delivers smooth, powerful and efficient performance and, like all VXs, is versatile and easy to operate.

Audio is standard on the VX Cruiser HO, with a fully integrated factory-installed Bluetooth sound system. The speakers are ideally placed in the footwells and are controlled from an easily accessible panel on the dashboard.

 

Refining Recreation

A flying start aboard the JetBlaster

With the introduction of the JetBlaster^® the recreational sector was redefined. The impeccable build quality ensures an experience that is reliable and unquestionably Yamaha. The NanoXcel2^® hull delivers a strong power-to-weight ratio, delivering serious thrills and exhilarating performance on all types of water. The electronic trim system allows easy bow height adjustment, which reduces splash and drag when raised and provides more cornering grip when lowered. The RiDE® control system with electronic reverse makes steering easier and thanks to footrests, even novices can easily adjust their riding position and join in the fun. With standard storage space and a generous fuel tank that allows for extended trips, this model captured the hearts of new customers and fans of the original WaveBlaster alike.

While the JetBlaster^® Introduced with a retro-inspired design that pays tribute to the legendary WaveBlaster, this year's edition offers more understated styling while retaining the graffiti and free-spirited personality, opening up the excitement to a new group of customers who prefer a subtler, more modern look of their WaveRunner.

 

Sports: delivering ultimate performance

GP family: destined for greatness

When you're performing at your peak, you need a machine that can match it. The supercharged Yamaha GP1800R SVHO and naturally aspirated GP1800R HO stand out from the crowd with the industry's first automatic trim system with Cornering Control and Launch Control. Cornering Control automatically adjusts the trim setting, providing extra grip when the rider slows down for tighter cornering. It then automatically selects the optimum trim setting to keep the vessel level. Launch Control automatically pushes the trim down to prevent the bow from lifting under rapid acceleration. This incredible technology offers an exceptional level of ride quality and performance for both racers and recreational users.

The GP1800R also features an intake grille and jet pump specifically designed for better connection and faster acceleration. The weight distribution has also been optimized to improve the GP's agile behavior and always deliver ultimate performance.

SuperJet^®: Tight on speed

The SuperJet^® is a revolutionary machine in which Yamaha's racing DNA has been woven from the outset. The sleek, lightweight SuperJet^® delivers an adrenaline-pumping combination of blistering speed and acceleration thanks to its fantastically lightweight design. It's not just straight-line speed that the SuperJet^® distinguishes itself. It also offers unparalleled agility along with utmost excitement. The award-winning three-cylinder four-stroke TR-1 engine and smooth, lightweight hull, embraced by users outside the professional world, have you mastering the waves. They deliver top performance on fast straights and extreme agility and control in aggressive corners.

For users who don't want to go full speed right away, the L-MODE^® the engine performance to about 35 knots to boost the confidence of novice riders. A wider and more stable hull makes it ideal for recreation, while the sprung tiller and handlebars put the rider in a comfortable forward leaning position for when he's ready for super-fast riding and turning. At just 2,5m in length it easily fits in the back of a small van or large SUV and at 170kg it is lightweight, making it very easy to put in and take out of the water. This model can also be stored very easily on the deck of a larger yacht.

 

Clean the Sea

the inspiring Clean the SeaYamaha Motor projects continue to bring people with a passion for nature closer together, focusing on diverse marine environments that unite the unique love of the oceans.

Our Clean the Seaprojects are diverse and widespread; from supporting record-breaking voyages to collect marine pollution, to more local initiatives that focus on raising awareness and promoting recycling.

Rivers flowing through cities are often the most sensitive to the negative effects of water pollution. Since 2017, Yamaha Motor Portugal has been running initiatives to clean up waste from the Tagus River in central Lisbon, while at the same time educating less fortunate teenagers in the area about the benefits of recycling and marine conservation.

In 2021 Simone Zignoli emphasized the importance of minimizing environmental impact during an Italian adventure, aboard his FX WaveRunner. Zignoli completely immersed himself in the nature of Sardinia, taking care not to negatively impact the environment around him by living only on what grew locally.

In Scandinavia become Ocean Crusaders supported since 2021 by the ability of Yamaha outboards to assist with cleanups and the removal of plastic from the waters around Sweden.

Blue4Green is an initiative launched and led in Spain that cleans up litter in bays, remote coves and areas inaccessible on foot or by larger seagoing vessels. Yamaha Motor began collaborating with Lucas del Paso in 2022. He and his team introduced Blue4Green after a world record-breaking journey with a personal watercraft in which he covered more than 3.500 km in eight months, collecting litter along the way.

When surfing the big waves, some of the world's best surfers spend their lives looking for huge waves, some of which can reach 30 feet when they break on the shores of the Atlantic coast. A sport that is only reserved for the best and bravest Aquarius men and women in the world, in combination with the best equipment. In recent years, the world of big wave surfing has become increasingly popular with both spectators and participants, and much of this is due to the technological and technical innovations of Yamaha WaveRunners.

Yamaha WaveRunners have been a fundamental part of the evolution of big wave surfing in Nazare, Portugal and beyond. Waves once unimaginable to surf are now possible for these world-class athletes. The performance, stability and reliability of WaveRunners have all been key factors in the growth of the sport, allowing the pilots to navigate the surfers in the safest possible way. This reputation and innovation have made a Yamaha the watercraft of choice for the rising stars of the sport.

Nic von Rupp is a professional big wave surfer from Sintra, Portugal and a Yamaha Motor Ambassador. After winning numerous competitions on big waves during his career, in November 2020 he surfed some of the biggest waves ever at the legendary Nazaré Beach, where the waves can reach a phenomenal height of 30 meters.

In his pursuit to become the world's best surfer on big waves, Nic trains intensively and works incredibly hard with his team to deliver peak performance and face nature to the fullest. With that level of dedication and with so much at stake, he knows he needs the best equipment available. And when it comes to a watercraft to get it in and out of the biggest waves—and reliably pick it up when it disappears beneath all that crushing water—it has to be Yamaha, which he's been using for much of his career. used.

Currently, Nic uses the FX SVHO for his adventures between waves that can reach up to eight stories high, relying on the FX SVHO to be super stable in some of the world's most extreme conditions, reliable and powerful enough to outrun the surf.
