At the 30hp, peace of mind is standard.

Thanks to Yamaha's electronic fuel injection system (EFI), this powerplant delivers impressive high-rpm power, huge mid-range torque, excellent reliability and low fuel consumption. PrimeStart™ makes starting as easy and reliable as with a car. And being a Yamaha, you can be sure the engine will start on the first try. The unique long-range Power Trim and Tilt system puts you in complete control.

But don't worry: thanks to the optional Yamaha anti-theft system (Y-COP), a system that works in the same way as a remote-controlled immobiliser on a passenger car, starting is only possible when you want it.
