AMSTERDAM- As a 13-year-old boy, Wiep Torenvliet came into contact with water sports, not knowing it would define the rest of his life. With his wife, he started Torenvliet Yamaha Center Amsterdam 25 years ago.

Selling engines and all kinds of boats is his joy and life. ’’Nothing nicer than seeing people enjoy the boat and engine they bought from us,’’ said the entrepreneur who moved his family business to Keienbergweg in Amsterdam 3 years ago.

Torenvliet Yamaha Center's 25th anniversary will be celebrated with a completely renovated showroom, a permanent mini water sports fair.

The passion for water sports, which started at a young age as mentioned, is still there. ’’I still enjoy working every day.’’ And in corona time, he too has the wind in his sails.
